Happy stay with a dramatic ending.. The evening before we should leave and go back to Holland, we had car trouble. Our car was towed and could not be repaired because it was weekend. According to our insurance we would get another car. However, this car had to come from Germany and we were called late in the evening that it was not going to work anymore. There were no cars available. The next morning we have to leave our house at 10 o'clock. But we didn't have a car yet and we had our stuff and a child of 1.5 years old. We had hoped that the people of Almliesl would at least offer us something of a helping hand. Unfortunately this was not the case. Already at 9.30 they were at the door that we had to leave the house because the next guests wanted to enter at noon. We asked if we could put our luggage in the garage or at the office of Almiesl so we didn't have to walk with it. And that we would pick it up again as soon as possible. Unfortunately there was nothing to discuss and we had to leave. We tried to explain what was going on and that our car had been towed the night before and that there was no car available yet. Of course the people of Almliesl weren't responsible for this but suddenly we were on the street with our stuff and a child of 1,5 years old. The people of Almliesl didn't want to help us in any way and the only thing we were told was that we had to leave. So we leave and called a taxi. Unfortunately, no taxi could help us because at that time there was 'GP ice race' in Zell am See and every taxi was used. That's why we had no other option than to pick up our luggage and child and go to the nearest bus stop. Then we took the bus to Zell am See to look for a hotel for that night because we had received a phone call from our insurance company that a car would only be available on Sunday morning. Unfortunately, there was no hotel available in Zell am See. So we left for the train station and took the train to Salzburg. In the meantime a family member in the Netherlands had booked plane tickets. When we arrived in Salzburg we had to walk another kilometer with our stuff before we finally arrived at the airport. That evening we finally left at 8 o'clock by plane to Amsterdam. A very long story and the people of Almliesl are of course not responsible for this but we felt very badly treated. And as you can read we had a very long day and a very bad end of our holiday. Very inhuman and especially with a 1.5 year old child.
