They say never go back and usually this is advice that is well founded. Things are never the same and never as good the second time around. However, having had the most amazing time in Lofer last year we couldn't help ourselves and booked to return before we had even left. And so we returned last week, hoping things had remained the same. They hadn't. This time it was even better than before. We were welcomed like long lost friends. The service was tremendous. Gear was hired, ski school booked. Nothing was too much trouble. There are too many little touches that really helped us out to mention in full but Christophe's efforts to retrieve my jumper from a mountain restaurant where I'd left it in the exuberance of a last day of skiing in superb conditions was really something over and above in terms of service levels. He even arranged for it to be brought down the mountain for me before I flew home knowing that this was going to be difficult for me to arrange myself. As for the tuition in ski school, this place is really second to none. A big thank you goes to Ulla for teaching the adults. We really feel that we made progress and greatly appreciate her expertise and humour that once again made it a really special experience. Our children benefited from tuition from Basti and Luca. Both amazing instructors who taught them well, kept them safe and made them laugh. In the past we have had occasions when they were less than enthusiastic at going to ski school but not with this one. Not a moments hesitation from either of them. They loved every minute and that is worth its weight in gold for parents who also want to enjoy a ski holiday. Thanks team Sturm you are doing amazing work and we look forward to seeing you again next season. We again booked before we left.

Great experience, have been going back to Lofer and especially to the Sturm ski school for 8 years. Ski rentals, ski instructors and bosses are great. It's like a big family. Our children are always very enthusiastic and we always like to book.
