Wels is not a place you might expect to eat well, but I had an excellent healthy lunch there. It was their cheap lunchtime meal, but the quality was excellent, the location pleasant and the service friendly and relaxed. If you want an unusual read while you enjoy the location's historic charm, try browsing some of the posts at quarantineinthegarden.wordpress.com

Very fine cafe in the center of Wels. The Wimter also has cozy, heated seating outside. Friendly service, delicious cakes.
