I canceled my trip following the obligation of the Austrian state to return to compulsory quarantine 14 days before. We were 6 families in the same case, and some o were reimbursed, others not, at the will of the person on the phone. I was told no, after I called back I had another person who told me that it was a mistake on their part and that I was going to be reimbursed too and finally I did not have it summer. Customer service without any rules, without respect for the customer. I never traveled with them again.

We have booked a trip (mountain hut accommodation) and canceled it in good time within the given time. The cancellation was processed by calling the Hofer Reisen hotline. But it was obviously not processed by the employee. So the deadline was exceeded and we would have had to pay 85% of the price at once. It took 2 weeks and countless calls and cost a lot of nerves until we got our money back. Although the mistake was with the employee, as she did not initiate the cancellation, we almost had to fight to get our money. I am aware that we should have done this in writing, this is certainly a lesson for us. But we also learned one thing. Never book anything with Hofer Reisen again!

WATCH OUT!!! DO NOT BOOK !!!!! In the event of cancellation, more than 60% was retained, even though the cancellation was free of charge in the cancellation policy. After repeated consultation, by far the worst customer service, you only get wrong information and empty promises. I won't let you just take my money and close the case. I will go to consumer protection. I'm sure you won't let me fool you !!!

Cancellation confusion! We made it clear by telephone that we would like to be able to cancel at short notice 24 hours before the start of the trip. Then they offered us the carefree package. Unfortunately it turned out that we could only cancel free of charge for 6 days (9 days before the start of the trip). No goodwill with us either, although we have often booked with Hofer Reisen. We have already contacted a lawyer. We also go to consumer protection. It looks like we're not the only ones. Addendum: Regarding your answer, it is noted that we have already had contact with your service point. Unfortunately unsuccessful.
