In the middle of the historic city center of Schärding (A) e.g. The town hall - s. image It was built in 1594 from two purchased town houses. After fire damage from 1809 repeated reconstruction in Neugotik and Neubarock. The Town Hall is located on the 1st floor. e.g. The silver line - s. image North-East side of the Upper Town Square, probably so called because of the wealthy merchants who once settled here when the Inn was still a major trade route. The colorful facades with pastel shades go back to the medieval guild colors that were assigned to individual guilds (eg baker blue, butcher red, innkeeper yellow and green). Or the Christophorus fountain in the middle of the city center ...
