Bought a VD-1100 Economy wich has been nothing but a disappointment because of the bad materials used for the toolrest. The toolrest is made of cast iron and broke because of a catch inside a bowl. The lock handel has broken twice. Also the need for use for tools for adjusting the toolrest base makes the lathe slow to use.
