Really irritating experience!! I will avoid this place next time. I came here to buy a few simple items for my new monitor, like a DVI-HDMI cable. Only to find that the cheapest one is over 20€ with some up to 46€! What the hell? Meanwhile you can get one on Amazon for 6€... and I really do not think the ones at Media Markt are much better quality. Seems like a big company that's just ripping off customers. Second complaint: I came back the next day to return two which which didn't work for me. First I went to the help desk and the lady told me I could do the return with her. She looked at my receipt and gave me a piece of paper. I would have expected to get my money back there, but no... had to go to another person in the store. I assumed the person at the Kasse would be enough, so went there. She then told me I need to go to another 'Kollege'. I went to the nearest station, surprise, this guy can't help me either, but he takes me to where I need to go (a tiny desk in one corner of the building). I wait for 10 minutes until someone is free to help me there. He processes the return paperwork, but then has to search around the store for some manager to sign it, with me following behind him. Finally once we have the signiture, I have to take the new paper to the cash register to get the money back on my card. What a complicated mess and bad customer experience! Why not handle it all at the help desk? Not a happy customer 😑
