The home of orangutans is the Zoo’s ORANG.erie, the oldest palm house in Schönbrunn. It's connected by an underpass with the zoo. Next to it is Cafe Nonja with big sunny terrace. We just drank coffee and ate some cakes. Tasteful. Friendly staff.

I enjoyed a few quiet minutes here with a good coffee and cake. Service was friendly and quick. I was surprised by a minor matter. I had been in the zoo for a long time and ordered a large glass of tap water with it. Contrary to other experiences, this glass of water was not on the bill.

The first impression was very good, the ambience is pleasant and the waiter was friendly. However, the water with lemon juice was quite bitter and I couldn't enjoy my roast beef. The first bite was streaked with flax and somehow tasted like old meat. But the fried potatoes were very good. The most unpleasant thing I experienced was in the toilets. In the middle cabin, someone failed to make his big business in the toilet bowl. After that the person tried to wipe it up, but everything was smeared. The restaurant itself cannot help it, but I immediately informed an employee that the toilet urgently needs cleaning. 45 minutes later, members of our guest group were still in the toilet and the mishap was unchanged. In my eyes that doesn't work at all.
