Cake was frozen... and was not supposed to be. Never before had such a bad experience at a Landtmann cafe before. Deeply disappointed for a 5.5 euro price tag...

The atmosphere here was laid-back and nice, the wait staff was very accommodating and friendly (and a bonus for our family, they spoke English!) and the food was excellent. We had been to the Landsmann Café in 1st District prior and the cafe at Schönbrunn was every bit as good, but in a more laid-back, park atmosphere. It was nice to sit outdoors but have the umbrellas up covering us from the hot sun. We were also able to see the Rhinoce from where we sat, which made our son and his two friends super happy during lunch. The menu was nice and variable, between items for adults and also some nice choices for the kids.

Good child friendly cafe outside the gate of the zoo. The staffs are very quick. Though they have less options but the food is delicious. Their homemade lemonades are a must try in this hot summer days. It is a busy restaurant so do check for the items ordered in the bill what you are paying for as your bill can get swiped with others.

Fastest service of any European cafe I've ever visited. Conveniently located just outside the zoo gate and great for kids including a kids menu. Had the schnitzel sandwich and ot was quite good. They served Ottakinger beer on tap and it was quite good.
