checkVIENNA - Apartments Hofwiesengasse

We have arrived at 23:00. Due to technical fault pin door didn't work and same the phone number that was meant to be 24/7 and finally a key left in the pigeon hole, was also a wrong one.. However thanks to some Romanian residents who kindly let us in and we were able to retrieve our apartment key. Rooms are spacious, with plenty of daylight and most items you may need in stock. Except the wine opener. I mean c'mon. Austria is famous for its underground wine selection. Please fix this. There is no elevator and parking is very tight, however there is plenty of street parking available. Just check for rates before leaving car outside. Over all very pleasant experience. Owner rang us back, and confirmed, they had phone line error, causing door code error leading to dial in issue. However I feel they have failed to provide robust resolution to avoid unnecessary stress that we have went through. Other than this, place is awesome.

First of all this is not a low budget apartment. Second there is no Service at all, no one picks the phone number when I called. The so called "free WiFi" is a absolute joke, it doesn't work most of the time and when it works it runs with less then 100kb/sec. The Appatment interior is old and in my case it was broken, the sofa had a whole from a cigarette even though it is a non smoking apartment. Cleaning is Kot included but there is no broom or anything to clean and since no picks the phone it was not possible to clean for 2 weeks... The stove is a risk factor, when I switched on one plate the whole electricity went, I assume they installed it wrong and since no one picked the phone I couldn't clear this topic either. For 1 or 2 days it might be OK but I can't recommend it for longer. Not worth the price, very disappointing. I was on a business trip and my company will claim money back.

Spacious apartment in a good location where you can easily find free parking spots or take the public transportation!Excellent wifi and heating system as well as many amenities (washing mashine, hairdryer,microwave oven).Checkvienna thank you for the great hospitality!!

Apartment was not the one in the picture, looks nice from one view, looks cozy, but the rooms need better cleaning, lots of hair was all over the apartments corners, a spacially in bathroom, do not recomend to walk barefooted! Also there was some strange spots on bed sheets.... Gladly we were aware that there could be some problems and took clean sheets and towels from home. Location is ok, easy connection to tram line 60 and 62. I would say it was little bit too pricey for such an apartment. I would recomend to find some better place near center.
