A learning room is usually there for impaired children, who should be able to cope better with the required learning material and their environment. Back then, it was the case with me that I had a look at the facility without the firm decision to really go there. Incidentally, my parents also saw it that way. At that time I had psychological problems and was not yet ready to face everyday school life again. But there is a person there who has persuaded my parents that I am just lazy and I quote: "Every morning I need a bucket of water over my head". Then one of my worst times began because I quarreled with my parents because they believed this supposed childminder, of course. I finally made up my degree 3 years later somewhere else. I think that a school institution should contain all-round understanding and well-educated people who can empathize with the often difficult situation of the child and, in my opinion, it does not. This learning room is private and also costs a lot of money and I would have expected a little more sensitivity!
