I was there today and really enjoyed it. The exhibition is interactive and cleverly designed and there is a lot of exciting information about the national park. The cafe is super nice too and everyone is very friendly!
I went to the visitor center with two teenagers. We were very disappointed, for the steep admission price you get precious little, and above all. very little Capricorn, after 15 minutes we ran through it once. The concept is simply not right. It is not enough to attach a few stuffed animals to a rock wall in the large hall (no, we did not expect any live animals, you can see them at Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe). Wasted 4.6 million.
I would like more information about the Capricorn. It's a museum to participate in. It's built for handicapped people - that's good. Unfortunately, a film is playing in the entrance that I have seen in other museums. The Kärnten Card brought us here.
Very well prepared, lots to discover. Recommended for everyone who is interested in nature and our mountains. Good program for a rainy half day.
Nice caffe, great view. Entry a bit expensive, otherwise well done. Friendly staff.
