Good day! A funeral like this is not a nice thing in and of itself. Almost a year ago we had to say goodbye to our mom much too early. The treatment at the funeral home itself was fine, but the more time that goes by, the more I realize how bad it all went. But my displeasure has now reached its climax after I was allowed to attend the urn burial of my grandma in St. Paul yesterday. THAT was a nice urn burial. A little speech, some incense, some music. Nothing "exciting", but nice. With my mom there was - NOTHING - such a thing! The urn was thrown into a hole dishonorably and without a word and we were allowed to go home again. At the time I thought we had "forgotten" to "book" something, but how should I know what I have to book and what not? Fortunately, I don't bury someone every day. Isn't it the funeral's job to point out that I still need a speaker? Doesn't the funeral usually have enough props for a halfway dignified farewell? But no, I haven't forgotten anything. With my grandmother, it was all part of it as a matter of course. Nothing exciting. Nothing special. But with dignity. The undertaker greeted those present, said a few nice words and dignified my grandma in the urn wall. This is how it should work. Thank you, Bestattung Klagenfurt. For this undignified farewell. Thank you. For nothing!
