Lovely and friendly Hotel! We loved every minute while staying here. The rooms are extremely clean and the staff is very friendly. we enjoyed breakfast and dinner most days here; never disappointed! If we get the chance to come to Warth again we will definitely be staying here again!
Stay away from this hotel! Parking will cost you 30 euros! We parked there for a few hours (as there was no sign we didn’t know it belonged to the hotel), as we wanted to leave suddenly a young man stood behind our car and screamed at us, threatened us with the police and wanted us to pay 30 euros for 6 hours parking!
I never write reviews and I don’t care about the money but the way he treated us makes me write this. He was very rude and disrespectful, arrogant and had an unbelievable impertinent tone. That’s NOT how you talk to people!
We are so pleased that we found this gem!
The features are exactly as advertised. The staff are warm, inviting, and endlessly helpful.
We have stayed in a few ski hotels now, and this is the best one we‘ve experienced.
Don’t eat a big lunch though, because dinner is five courses.
Do bring your own medication, as the tiny village does not have a pharmacy.
There is an ATM in the village.
The hotel is convenient to ski hire, lift ticket office and slopes. Just walk out of the ski store room, and walk about 50m. Doesn’t get much more convenient than that!
Come back after a huge day skiing and relax I the spa/sauna; book a massage (in advance, and bring cash, as the masseuse is an independent operator), then relax with complimentary tea, or cold drinks near the indoor pool, in the relaxation area, on a soft reclining chair.
How does that sound?
Perfect.
Great family run establishment. Packages that include breakfast and dinner are recommended. The breakfast bar is plentiful to load up for the hard work ahead on the slopes or trails. Reserve with time ahead and the staff will answer questions and set you on your way. Staff is friendly informative and caring. Dinner in the evening is alright as well. Local dishes are prepared with care and detail. Location is also great, walking distance from a small market, lift and next door to a rental place.
The bar is great. Very special and exotic cocktails and a nice atmosphere overall. The restaurant itself was okay, the food was nice, but basic and nothing to exciting. Still a good place to go, especially the bar.
