food was amazing, the rooms were totally clean and beautiful. the gym was new and the pool was fun. staff unfortunately didn't speak german well or sometimes at all. some waiters seemed bored to say the least. regarding corona measures: there are enough options. disinfectant and gloves everywhere. if someone doesn't feel like that's enough, don't go on vacation.

We've enjoyed the stay very much, the spa was great, place wasn't crowded, the views were very nice, and food was quite delicious! I recommend it especially for couples.

Good hotel, perfect location in the mountains with free usage of ski lifts. However the breakfast and dinner buffet was a mess (no corona measures taken) Update: There are indeed gloves and disinfection equipment at the buffet, however nobody uses these. The buffet is a very small area and around 7-8pm there are lines everywhere were nobody keeps a meter distance. I would recommend closing the buffet and serving people all the food, like many other hotels do nowadays.

We stayed a week at the Hotel & Spa Carinzia in Tröpolach. Architecture and location (close to the mountain lift) were great, also the cleaning service (very discret and fast) was good. But Service in general was very bad. Beginning witch reception, continuing witch the restaurant: bad language skills (bad or no English, no German, just Italian), dishes were missing or unclean, main courses were tiny (even for a skinny woman :D ) and always cold, reception: no further information for our stay, wrong booked package, false bills at our checkout (drinks from other rooms were booked on our bill). During Corona the situation in the hotel was a mess! (in August 2020): way too many guests (hotel was full booked), overstained service, tables in restaurant stayed very close (less than 1,5 meter), just one knife for cheese for all guests without any desinfection... We can't recommend the hotel regarding price / performance. This is not a four-star level.
