Such a lovely place to stay! Mrs. Knitel is a lovely woman, who helped us out with everything. The place is old and the kitchen could use a renovation, but the warm and welcoming atmosphere is absolutely worth it. We were able to cook our own meal here, which saves some money, and the breakfast was really good as well, served personally by mrs. Knitel. Would definitely come back!

Everything was good. Ms. Knitel tries very hard and is incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Although the house is old, the night was very quiet and the bed was comfortable.

Old, full, not exactly clean house. Already at the entrance you stumble across a dog that ekes out its existence in a kind of winter garden on old, dingy pillows. Everything is covered with old, shabby carpets. Washed laundry piles up on the floors to form mountains. In between old odds and ends. In the kitchen only mess, mess, egg carton stacks, etc. A terrible kitchen in the room, dishes not clean. Electrical wiring questionable. Old facility. Showers ... well. Unused sheets were piled in an old shower. I only stayed because I didn't want to expose my niece who had booked the quarters. Better to pay more than do something like that. That has nothing to do with time-honored, romantic. Can't understand the positive reviews.

Mrs. Knitel is very friendly, the room was small but everything to the fullest satisfaction. I slept very well and the breakfast was delicious. Gladly again.

Charming guest house. Very cozy and homey there. Mrs. Knitel was super friendly and welcoming! A cozy room with a view of Holzgau and the suspension bridge. And a fresh, extensive breakfast every morning. In short, everything we needed.
