Hotel Kaiserin Elisabeth

I absolutely fell in love with Vienna and this hotel could not be in a better location! Nice rooms, across from bakery, where all the best shopping was, and some of the most beautiful Cathedral.

I was doubting between 4 or 5 stars but for one minus point it’s not worth it. So I choose 5 stars, lovely hotel with big rooms, everything clean. Location is perfect near everything you need and if not the subway is around the corner. The 5 stars are for the employees,very friendly every one of them! The minus point is the breakfast, that is because of the corona very basic.

Old school good hotel, great location but the amenities are lacking... The hotel is located in very central Vienna, very close to the underground, to the shopping street and to St. Stephen's Cathedral. The room and also the bathroom were spacious, the bed was good. The room has also windows that can be opened and give some nice fresh air. Front desk was helpful and the room was always clean. What I didn’t like is that there was no bathrobe and slippers in the room (also very small soap bar since they put kind of liquid soap container). When I asked the front desk if I can get them they told me it would cost an extra payment of €20… The rate I paid was €160 / night in rather a low season (without breakfast). I tried to contact the marketing manager and got the same response (I must tell she offered me complimentary breakfast on my last day, which I prefer not to take - I love to eat breakfast at local cafe). Anyhow I’d rather rank it as 3.5 but I gave it 4.

Nice people, cleaning ladies very sweet. Decor is traditional Austrian, clean room and 1 min away from all the shopping centers, the hotel is in an excellent position! I recommend staying at this hotel.
