Hotel Garni Seerösl in Krumpendorf am Wörthersee

Sharing this review very late but we still remember our stay at this place. The host (a family) were very inviting and friendly. We didn't speak German but they still helped us a lot with food and local worthersee parkbad card. They also have bikes you can take.

Very nice and friendly family business! The girls try very hard and want to please everyone! Super good and rich breakfast, there is always a second offer! The furnishing of the rooms is a bit older, but completely adequate and clean, and we renew a bit every year! We absolutely cannot understand the negative reviews, if you expect a luxury hotel, then you have to pay 100 € more for the night and go to a 5 star hotel! We had a great stay and can definitely recommend the hotel for the price!

If a charming house is enough and the flair of the typical Austrian private room rental, this is the right place. Everything is clean and lovingly cared for, no useless chichi. You will be welcomed and looked after in a warm and friendly manner, a rich breakfast in a colorful breakfast room with a view of the green invites you to linger and de-stress. Will be back for sure.

Unfortunately the hotel didn't meet our expectations, the two bosses are friendly and nice and the breakfast is good, but that can't detract from the overall picture. Already in the entrance area a musty smell wafts towards you, which runs through the whole house. The furnishings are from the 1960s and the shower curtain was an impertinence. Price-performance does not match. Unfortunately, during our stay there was not regular cleaning, with the excuse that there were too many arrivals-then you have to get staff and not do everything alone or in pairs. The large carpet in the breakfast room was only vacuumed after 4 days, if at all. Furthermore, the information on the Internet is incorrect - it is 100 meters to the lake (as the crow flies) but there is no lake access. This is only possible via the Parkbad, which is free and also very nice, but the loungers from the hotel are almost all broken, screws etc. are missing. After my son wrote a bad review, we were asked to delete it, as the ladies or the hotel only get bad criticism - that would give me pause, if you run a hotel you have to invest ... e.g. gardens, Furniture, staircases (stains that no longer come out of the plastic floor), possibly small decorations such as flowers would not hurt, the gravel driveway is also more than uninviting. We had a nice week, but that was not thanks to the Hotel Seerösl.
