If you like western riding, you have to go here! The Wernhof is family-run by Heidi and Silvester. You are supported by the daughter, the sons and grandma and grandpa! Great family. We had a beautiful apartment with a wonderful view of the Glantal and the horses. Not only the apartments, but the entire courtyard are well maintained. The only thing that comes to mind about the horses is “great”. All of them well trained, well behaved and in excellent condition. The riding lessons offer something for everyone! Whether young or old or beginner or advanced! Thanks to Jack (the hamburger) and Kessie! Great school horses! The whole area offers a lot! Whether the lakes, the villages, mountains or hiking? Everything possible and in the immediate vicinity! In one week you can only see a fraction of what Carinthia has to offer. For us one thing is certain: we will be back! Ines and Pepe

I've been around a lot - but you rarely find such a warm atmosphere as at the Wernhof! Here the guest is still king. There is also plenty to do here in winter. The surrounding area invites to excursions, the apartment BuaBua leaves nothing to be desired. We would love to come back!

By chance we ended up here, because due to the Corona crisis, our actually booked riding vacation could not take place ... But what luck, we couldn't have done better. Even with a riding and a non-riding child, our family vacation was a hit, also due to the riding times (horse riding in the morning, riding lessons in the evening), which leaves enough time for the many other trips to which the area invites. We would love to come back.
