Historical statue located in the center of a major tourist attraction area. Shops, restaurants and countless tourist snapping away photo moments. Great people watching spot. Gateway to the trendy top fashion shops area

I'm giving this statue five stars because it stands next to the most enormous statue in Western Europe. Stop and take a look, and read up on the history.

This fountain is dedicated to Saint Leopold, the saint credited with the discovery of the Veil of St. Agnes and founding the Klosterneuburg Abbey. The centrepiece of the fountain is a bronze statue of Saint Leopold, with a flag in his hand, looking at the design of the abbey on a piece of paper held up by a youth. The sculpture stands atop a pedestal with two relief sculpture depicting scenes of his aforementioned legacy. I think the fountain is okay, it's on one of the main tourist streets of Vienna, on Graben. I wouldn't go out of the way to see it. It's not much of a fountain either.

The Leopold Fountain in the Tyrolean state capital is a listed monument near the Altstadt of the city of Innsbruck. The fountain, which is on the Rennweg and is not far from the Tyrolean State Theatre features an equestrian statue of Archduke Leopold V who lived from 1586 to 1632 and gave the fountain its name
