Very very interesting location

A curiosity and unique in the Viennese building landscape. You can find Persia in Döbling in Nußwaldgasse 14. The Zacherl factory and the founder, the Austrian manufacturer and successful businessman Johann Zacherl are one of the most interesting stories of the time. In 1880 Zacherl handed over the company to his son Johann Evangelist. The factory for the production of insect powder Zacherlin, which he made from the leaves of a imported from Persia chrysanthemum species, was rebuilt between 1888 and 1892. Today, the almost unchanged factory is privately owned by the heirs and currently not accessible. Zacherlin was known throughout the k.u.k. Monarchy. There was even a popular song for Zacherlin that sang by the vermin infested: "The right man who can help or Zacherl and his powder." Worth seeing is the building also from the street side and from the park.
