I contacted the embassy by an e-mail to get information about visa process and they told me to mail them the documents. I did it. Then I waited 2 weeks and tried to call and e-mail them. No answer. I tried again after a week. Then every few days. After a month and a half of trying to reach to the embassy, I finally gave up of thinking I will go on my holiday in Morocco (I already had booked flight and hotel). Then after almost 2 months since I applied, they e-mailed me that I can come and pick my visa. The service at the embassy was OK. Don't expect friendly stuff and smooth process. They somehow lost three pictures I've sent them with the post and then they've used my passport picture as a visa picture. To everyone applying for Morocco tourist visa in this embassy - good luck, you will need it. It is really a shame that they make it so complicated to get a visa, because Morocco is such a beautiful country. I enjoyed my holiday in Marrakesh.

Extremely unprofessional and unpleasant staff! No-one is picking up the phone, they have no clue about what an appointment is! Tasks and/or questions which can be treated and completely done remotely, are not! You will need to come in person even do you live very far from Vienna. On the top of that, I blindly believe they think all the people visiting the embassy have no life (job or private life). If you need anything from this embassy, be patient and better to take days off... you will need it! For information , there is no queuing system, do not be surprise : if you arrive among the first persons and no-one will dare to take care of you and/ if people arriving after you getting their case solved before yours. I personally rather drive to Frankfurt in Germany than dealing with such service, it would be faster and you will be treated with respect. I even wonder which definition of "bureaucracy" they have. I hope it will change one day!

In the last few years it was not so good... Finally a new Ambassador came and he is developping the things for the best. Bonne continuation et bon courage

Now I understand where are all the bad reviews coming from. After I arrived to the embassy, I was asked to wait (although there were no other visitors at all). The embassy worker was just smoking with the ambassador for the next 15 minutes. But ok. Then later when I had to pick up the docs I was misinformed each time when calling there. The embassy worker was providing conflicting and misleading information within the same call. Very unprofessional.
