Eagle Pharmacy on Aumannplatz

Wow, good luck non-native German speakers. I've been buying my birth control from this pharmacy for two years (with mixed results each time). Sometimes there is a very nice gentleman who is patient with my poor German or switches to English with me. On my last visit, he told me I should just call in with the name of my prescription and pick it up so I don't have to go twice. When I tried, they were horribly impatient with me and simply said "we don't have it" even though I've been buying it there for years.... the lack of empathy and basic human kindness was truly incredible.

A small emergency brought me to the Adler pharmacy. I received extremely competent advice. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I am a big fan of this great pharmacy! Unfortunately, today I had a very unpleasant experience ... For the first time, I had to ask for a rapid corona test. It's not that easy to get one at all without driving across Vienna - which in this context can hardly be surpassed in terms of absurdity and lack of meaningfulness. In any case, I felt very uncomfortable in this situation and I accidentally called the wrong pharmacy and asked for a quick test - in the belief that it was the Adler pharmacy. I don't know what was going on today and the gentleman, who has always given me competent and really very friendly advice in the past, may just have had a bad day - everyone is entitled to that. Especially in times like these. However, I am a bit speechless and, to be honest, also a little disappointed at how one can react so rude and rude to a customer who neither behaved wrongly nor approached the gentleman in an unfriendly manner! Yes, the time we are currently living in is tough for all of us and slowly everyone is reaching their limits ... But especially when it comes to Corona, I hope that people will not be made even more insecure by being unfriendly! Despite this annoying experience, I don't want to give a bad rating here just because I was treated badly once (out of 100 times) - that would be more than sad! Perhaps this feedback will help avoid such situations in the future or at least optimize them - I would be very happy about that!

Incredibly unfriendly and xenophobic manager who apparently has not yet overcome the Nazi era. Appeal to all foreigners and Austrians or Austrians with foreign roots, do NOT visit this pharmacy, you will save yourself a lot of trouble and inconvenience! There are many good pharmacies with friendly staff in the vicinity, e.g. Martinstrasse 93, Hasenauerstrasse 1, etc. It's actually a shame, as the other employees are very friendly and committed.
