Allgas - Volkmann GmbH

I’ve been with this company for many years - but this year I realized how dishonest they have been with me. Originally, I had a heater which needed to be entirely replaced. I did so in 2016, with them. Each year following, for the “wartung”, I was on time with the 12 month mark. Turns out, they have been exchanging the same pieces, incurring an additional 70€ fee to the already steep bill, annually. The electrician has never asked if he could during a scheduled check-up. This year, the state chimney sweep said he felt something was off, and I needed to have it checked immediately. I did so, despite it being only 8 months since the previous appointment. They came, charged a full service of over 300€, then said that it wouldn’t count towards my annual check-up. They returned within 4 months, suddenly let’s needed replacing, and an addition (over)300€ charge was incurred. The electrician tries to convince me he is offering a good deal by giving me 18€ off due to loyalty. A quick internet search shows they offer 30€ discounts... There is no perk to being loyal to this company. Their main objective is to overcharge and double charge when possible. Also, when I’m the first appointment of the day, the electrician takes time to use the restroom, have some drink because he is thirsty, and changes the date and time on my devices... sorry, but people who diddle-daddle on the clock are people I cannot recommend and will not invite back. I’ve called and tried to clear up the double charge with their office - but no leniency was offered, not in the least. Additionally, I’ve scheduled appointments which they have canceled and needed to postpone. I’m ok with that - but not 50% of the time, and without a discount of some sort. Keep looking for a Wartung Service company. These aren’t worth your money or time.

We were given an estimate of about €120 on the phone for service of our gas installation. So the actual €265 (still just for service) we were billed was a bit of a surprise.

I can fully agree with the negative reviews! After both times the thermal bath has dripped or you couldn't refill any more water, both the technician on site and the lady on the phone are so unfriendly that it turns out to be difficult (to the questioning statement that the thermal bath was suddenly dripping during the day After the maintenance it would have to fall under warranty, I was ruffed with "I shouldn't get too upset") and the prices are a cheek (450 € and 900 € for simple maintenance, whereupon the thermal baths both times had malfunctions, which then again were charged separately) and are mentioned at the very end. Most of all, the work is wrong! Arguments such as that you cannot guarantee that problems will arise again the next day with the thermal bath even after maintenance, are against the background of an alleged "leaky sealing ring", which caused the thermal bath to drip from day 1 after servicing by Volkmann, just mockery! Keep your hands off it !!

Worst company I've ever come across. Made an appointment for the thermal service when I was comparing prices and then forgot to cancel. My mistake, but I was charged 137 € for the journey, which is more than for other companies journey and service combined. Including service, you would have taken a whopping € 400! In my case they were anything but accommodating, the lady on the phone was just sloppy and unfriendly. Never again!

Way too expensive!! We were charged over 80 € for the journey from the 16th district to us in the 17th district (5min drive) and over 200 € for normal thermal maintenance. Believe there are certainly cheaper and fairer technicians in Vienna. Unfortunately I can't recommend it to anyone
