Clean, calm, kind, familiar environment! A worthy host!

One big disappointment! First of all: I only award the star because otherwise I cannot post the rating. Unfortunately, I cannot confirm the positive experience. We had booked a double room in the Pension Kogler over the turn of the year. When we moved into the room, we were already confused that something like this still exists today and felt suddenly transported back to the late 70s. Obviously nothing has been renovated or renewed since then - at least in our room. It started with the furniture, stretched through the feather beds, which were completely unsuitable for allergy sufferers, to the bathroom, where there was a splashing, calcified shower head with a control fitting that protruded halfway into the shower so that it was easy to touch could hurt. In addition, the shower wall had black, sticky joints. The fact that the entire room, as well as the bathroom, were so narrow that you weren't allowed to meet there, I don't want to describe in more detail here. An existing ceiling fan didn't work in the windowless bathroom either. When our room key was temporarily lost, the landlady refused to give us a replacement key hand over. We couldn't lock our room during the time and when we entered the house the senior manager of the house told us that we wouldn't be out until midnight ... She could be reached until 11 p.m., then we should ring the bell. Incomprehensible!!! A replacement key should cost € 75.00, but there would be no invoice for it. A rogue who thinks evil ... !!! All in all, for € 78.00 per night that was an outrage and in our eyes a rip off. We will definitely not recommend this house! I would also like to add that the "rich breakfast buffet" mentioned on the homepage is an exaggeration. It wasn't even offered some fruit, let alone a selection of rolls or bread.
