Adem's Strickmoden

I commissioned three modifications in the Porzellangasse. The garments are high quality and my wishes were a bit challenging. The boss took a lot of time and advised me professionally during the fitting. The three pieces were ready to pick up within a week, as agreed. I was contacted twice by phone. The modification work is very nicely done. I can highly recommend this company.

Incompetent and unprofessional. I got there a Merino sweater with a small hole (4x4 stitches) brought there to the art stopper and the boss personally get the assurance that it would be repaired for less than 20eur. I gladly left the sweater there and left my number. I received the info, I would get it as soon as the repair is done. When I did not receive a call after 10 days, I called myself. I got the info, the repair was more complicated than expected and that I should please wait until a skilled employee can take care of it. So far, so understandable. I was again asked for my phone number, which I left hoping I would soon hear of Adem's knitwear. After another 11 days - all in all 3 weeks had passed - I still had not received a call and called again. The boss told me that the repair was because it did not look nice to be separated again and so not feasible. Alternatively, he could sew on with a patch - I have, of course, rejected, because I need for a makeshift overstitching no artifice. He also mentions a possible 'hand-made' repair by himself. I should drop by the shop in Porzellangasse to discuss the possibilities. He assured me to call me as soon as the sweater from the workshop is back in the store. Once again, 1-2 weeks passed without a call. Once again, I had to ask myself if I could see or pick up the sweater. The desire for a repair by this store was already past me. To top it off, the boss did not say a single word of apology when picking it up, and in addition, when I complained about the lack of communication, tried to question my presentation. I can not recommend anyone to visit this store. Nothing but wasted time and nerves.
