Very peaceful place. Not many people. Very well taken care of. Good place to spend a free afternoon surrounded by nature.

This is your basic bit of lawn with a few trees in front of the Austrian national bank. I walk my dogs across it.

I love this park - walk here daily with my dog. It's one of the only places in this area (where I live) where you have more then a square meter where dogs are allowed. I feel like the city is blocking pet owners everywhere and you have to walk very far to what they call "dog parks" that stink of pee and look terrible. Also not taking in consideration that not all dogs get along and when they are put in such small area's - bad situations can occur. My little furry friend has already been attacked by a big dog before in one of these parks, and he never get's in trouble - was just attacked out of nowhere. I have a small dog myself but definitely big dogs need lots of exercise. A tired dog is a happy (and well behaved!) dog. Therefore I love this park - dogs that like eachother can play and greet, otherwise you can just walk along as there is enough space for everyone. I've read that the city wants to build here the Shoah Wall of Names Memorial - I wouldn't mind, like it even. I do hope though they make sure the park stays open for public (people like to picknick here in summer) and for dog owners! You don't want the dogs to pee on the streets, please make sure that you give and keep their walking space.
