Wonderful chapel in the middle of the Obernberger See. It can be reached on foot in about 30 minutes from the car park.
The Chapel of Our Lady on the Lake is located on an elevation on Lake Obernberger See.
It was built from 1934 to 1935
This elevation was created by a rock fall from the Tribulaun.
You can reach it via a wooden arch bridge.
Actually it stands between the smaller lake in front and the larger lake in the back

The Roman Catholic chapel "Maria am See" or "Our Lady of the Lake" (as it is also called) is located on an elevation on Lake Obernberg.
You can reach it via a wooden arch bridge. Actually it stands between the front smaller lake and the rear larger lake.
The chapel was built from 1934 to 1935 on a peninsula of Lake Obernberg and the frescoes were painted by Carl Rieder in 1938.
For this beautiful chapel, there can only be full marks.
