Less space inside,but good quality of the fruits and vegetables

It's my neighborhood grocery store. It has the most personal touch of all the Spar stores I know. staff always tries to help, very forthcoming even when there's appearently a lot of work to do. Might be a coincidence, but it's also a multiethnic crowd working there. Everybody's German very good though (ok that could be embarrassing as they might all be native Austrians), anyway as much as it's very common to have e.g. a Muslim lady at the cashier's in other countries or even other towns i rarely see that in Graz. Getting your meat from a (very competent) black lady with Styrian accent is also something that makes you feel we're finally a grown-up town. As a team they seem to work together very well as well. Fruits and vegetables are well taken care of and considering the size of the store you will most of the time find what you're looking for. And one more thing: I really like, that (at Spar in general) cashiers are NOT forced to bother you taking part in some kind of bonus program to exploit your personal data. Keep it that way! Phew, no idea why that review got so extensive, as usual Google just suggested me to review a place and I got a few minutes....

Small supermarket but have all the essentials you need

The spar has long lines, is small and doesn't have a lot of products. The spar does not have self-checkout either. Other than that it's ok. 3/5. I had an incident with this SPAR costing me 5 euros but they have compensated this after leaving a review here. Deleted the original review.
