I was quartered in the Franziska-Salesia Heim for 5 years and I am very happy that I decided to do so. On the one hand because I was struggling with homesickness at the beginning, but quickly got over it thanks to the many nice conversations with the sisters and the roommates. On the other hand, the sisters make every effort to make your stay as pleasant as possible. By being open to suggestions for improvement and sometimes taking on primary care for illnesses. There are also only positive things to say about food. As a long-time vegetarian, I am all the more pleased that, in addition to the normal food, a vegetarian dish is also offered daily. The location also convinced me from the start. A spacious garden away from the city noise and the good connection to public transport (walking time to the next tram or bus stop 2 minutes) speak for themselves. In general, I felt a strong sense of community in the five years and do not want to miss the many memories that I was able to experience in this home. All in all, I highly recommend this boarding school.

At the end of a school year, when the young graduating students leave the boarding school to immerse themselves in professional life, it is quite difficult to say goodbye. That says a lot. Personally, I recommend this well-run boarding school for the Oblat sisters, who are there for the girls with great commitment, empathy and happiness.

A nice, friendly home. Everyone is very nice and polite, but not really strict. The food also tastes very good. The rooms also leave room for personalization, there is a large pin board and plenty of space to store your things. All in all, just great.

A boarding school with people that grow in your heart. I was in this home for 3 years and it seems like I moved out yesterday. And the farewell was not easy, because in these 3 years the home became a home where I am always welcome. The sisters welcome you in the house and make sure that you do not miss anything. You ask how the day went and if necessary motivate you. At the end of the school year there is always a barbecue party with lots and good food organized. General there is always a lot and good food. Various other activities are proposed and organized by the sisters. Examples of activities are musical theater visits, baking Christmas biscuits, film evenings, carnival or Nicholas parties, ... The most important the boarding school itself, there are different rooms, single rooms or double rooms. I stayed in a double room for 3 years. This can also be designed by an existing pin board or you can take small plants, books, photos ... etc. The room roommate usually comes from the same school or is the same age. For room requests you can contact the home office. A floor is always looked after by a nurse and when asked helps with homework or learning (for example vocabulary). In this boarding school you not only learn to get along with people but also to respect them and to help each other. I thank all the sisters who accompanied and supported me in these 3 years. I thank you for your commitment, your respect and above all for your warmth. I am also grateful for all the little gestures that have motivated me and for all the conversations I have had with you. If I had to choose another boarding school for three years, it would be the Franziska-Salesia home in Linz.
