We were there with children. The remarks were interesting, with episodes from the life of the artist peppered. There is a quiz, the children were allowed to sit down and sign their own pictures. There were paper and pencils. The two hours went by way too fast. We will spend another afternoon with the extensive book about Edmund Adler. Maybe then which show their drawings.

Edmund Adler (1876 - 1965) lived in Mannersdorf since 1910 and worked there until his death. It created a large number of sketches and oil paintings. His extensive estate is now in the Edmund Adler Gallery. This magnificent collection is cared for by volunteers, some of whom personally knew Edmund Adler and his family. Many pictures depict scenes and people from Mannersdorf and the surrounding area, and in conversation the curators gladly reveal their knowledge. The Gallery's regular opening hours are from 14:00 to 16:00 every Sunday from September to June. Reservations are required for visits during the holiday months of July and August. Admission is free, but you should support the gallery with a proper donation!
