In the meantime, my husband has also added matching earrings and 2 necklaces for me, one of which is a custom-made item from my engagement ring, which is no longer required. Before our wedding, we had been looking for an artist for a long time who would make unusual but timeless wedding rings for us. Since I myself am a metal sculptor who deals with form and material, I have certainly made particularly high demands on the artist who should make our rings for this special occasion. By luck, we came across Letizia Plankensteiner. When we visited her workshop for the first time, we noticed that we were right with her. We were immediately won over by their sensitivity to their customers and their sense of what suits them. In addition, there was her winning nature, so that we understood each other immediately and felt comfortable. The wedding rings then exceeded our expectations by far. They are - just like my wife and I - very different: my ring is wild and massive with many corners and edges. My wife's is more delicate with soft curves. Through their organic shapes, but still unmistakably related to each other. Since they are not subject to a so-called zeitgeist, but rather bear the artist's signature archaic and clear, clearly, we continue to discover new facets in them. Letizia Plankensteiner has created wearable works of art that delight us every day. For both of us, however, it is not only shape and material that are important, but also the person who created the jewelry for us, because when we put on and wear it, we automatically remember the situations and feelings of how we got our rings - and At Letizia Plankensteiner we always like to remember that.
