DOG UNDFRIENDLY; NEGLIGENT; LACK OF VETERINARY KNOWLEDGE; IMPERTINENCE
I have been several times to this vet with my dog due to its extended working hours. Not worth a penny. My dog is from nature very scared, but in this place it only became worse, now he cannot enter a vet without going crazy.
In one of his regular vaccinations, I asked for deworming pills (Entwurmungstabletten) and a very young vet (not sure this person was vet, or was just a student, judging by knowledge and behaviour) gave us one pill and a quarter. Each pill is for 5kg, and my dog weighted 5,2kg (including harness). She said better more, to be on the safe side. As he had the harness on, I asked if it was not too much, considering he was also very young (1 year old), to what she said it was ok.
After 2 days, my dog had diarrea with blood and felt really weak. I went right away to the vet.
The vet did not want to treat him because he was trying to bite her, even though he can be treated/examined when being held. If you consider that he had bloody diarrea because of her incorrect math and negligence in prescribing him such an amount of deworming pills. She never admitted that this could be the cause of the bloody diarrea.
This was the only time such a thing happen to my dog. He had some blood tests which were really expensive and finally the results indicated that he had no infectious disease. After a couple of days, my dog was fine again, but he had to suffer this bad time thanks to these group of idiots.
Instead of an apology, I was treated very impolitely from the personnel, which were demonizing my dog because of his bad behaviour in the vet. I always asked them to be gentle and slow going towards him at the beginning of every visit, as you need to gain the trust of scared dogs, but they did not seemed to know how to deal with it and were rather gross. I even had to hear how they were commenting on "how bad" is my dog between two your employees.
Well guess what. After such treatment towards him and this experience, it only went much worse.
Recently I came back for the yearly vaccination, since few things could go wrong with it, again, I came to this vet only due to the convenient working hours. My mistake.
The unpolite personnel striked again. They basically told me to leave as my dog would not let them be treated. I begged once more to put him the vaccination, while I hold him (to avoid him moving and trying to bite). They did not want to. This is a 5kg dog, without strenght in his mouth. I completely understand no vet likes to be bitten, but I cannot understand why we were treated like that.
I dont think this treatment can be justified, we went to another vet to get the annual vaccination: my dog got scared, tried to bite, she understood the dog was scared, asked me to hold him, and vaccinated him while I held him. End of the problem. If it could have gone so smoothly, why where they not willing to? I also had the feeling that foreigners (I am not Austrian) are not welcome in this vet.
CONCLUSION: Don't visit this place if you care about your pets, or if you are FOREIGNER.
We are totally satisfied with the support. Our small zoo (2 dogs, 1 cat) is optimally looked after here. The whole team takes its time and has a lot of patience - even with our very scared cat. We had already given up on this after a misdiagnosis by another veterinarian, now it is completely healthy again!
I go there every now and then with my dog Louis. From vaccinations to x-rays to ultrasound, the animal clinic has proven to be a very reliable and, above all, professional contact person every time.
Very nice team! See you soon
The most competent vet far and wide, they are very friendly and their love for animals is limitless. Thank you that you exist!
all employees are incredibly loving with the animals. My scared dog is always treated with so much patience and skill!
You get appointments incredibly quickly and we always try to find an appointment that is optimal for you.
I can really recommend it!
