Rottenmann im Paltental is well known as a school town in the surrounding area. You will find schools here which are operated by an institution such as Caritas. But also the municipal and public schools like the Pestalozzi-Hauptschule and the Politechnikum and the Elementary School Rottenmann are housed in their own school district. This quarter is crossed by the Schulallee. Here, especially in the morning, a migration of peoples takes place every day. Big and small, children and teenagers alike cavort here. The little ABC students, accompanied by their parents, and the independent, mature high school students storm into their classes. The teachers who are supposed to teach these hordes are happy when everyone who is dutifully willing to learn has come to his seat. One of these cities of the school system is the ROTTENMANN VOLKSSCHULE.
