Villa Da Vinci Restaurant

Reserved a table for a family gathering this past weekend. Local but hidden away in a nice location. Menu options were very much to our taste. Staff great, prices realistic. Pizzas! 5 stars.

I was at Villa Da Vinci today for a family celebration, at approx 1pm (while the restaurant was fully seated) I noticed one of the staff interacting with one of the elderly patrons which pleasantly shocked and amazed me. Normally when asking if someone would like a drink or anything, a server would usually stand normally, however this staff member knelt down to eye level, most likely so she could be at eye level with the elderly patron and not having her strain her neck or head by looking up.nnShortly after I spoke to the staff member, who turned out to be the owner, said to me that she always lowers herself like that, to eye level (with her mother especially, she said).nnAs adults, we “look down” on children, standing high above them, but there are times when we lower our body down to their size to have that bit more of connection. I believe that this, small act, is a personality trait which is very rare to be found especially in a restaurant. It may not seem so big of a deal, but someone who can easily adjust to the elderly especially should be thanked and praised.

Has been our got to place on a Tuesday for years. Has never failed us. Great food, great value and great service.
