Visiting the cemetery where your pet's ashes rest isn't going to be for everyone, but Lawnswood is a beautiful setting and I do enjoy the tranquility.nnThere are a few picnic tables and chairs around but take water as there are no taps and if you need to go to the toilet after a long drive out there, there is a very well maintained public facility in Clackline, just as you pull off Great Eastern Highway on the corner of Spencers Brook Road.
I couldn't of imagine a more perfect place for my old dogs ashes to be spread. The cemetery is so serene and the park is well kept but still gives retains nature's beauty. Well worth the drive out to visit your old companions.
