Matsuri Japanese Restaurant

We used to eat at the Matsuri restaurant all the time and we loved it. It was our weekly outing. Now we went to the lunch bar twice and despite Google saying it's like, it was closed. Making a 20 min trip just for this place, this is highly annoying. No signage that it's open/closed or opening hours itself. Ridiculous.

I use to eat here regularly and now after being excited to return I received the worst Chicken Katsu Bento I've ever eaten. I'm never food fussy and don't need food to be too hot so it was sad to ask for a refund for the first time, I apologised and explained that the chicken wasn't hot and very mushy. The chef explained that he would only give half a refund because I had already eaten 'half' - which was a few pieces of the mushy chicken, with the hope of being able to put up with it but realising I couldn't, a spoon of the rice and a try of the previously frozen peas, corn and carrot.nnAfter already being disappointed that they removed the fresh salad side for a small amount of pre-frozen veges, the mushy chicken and claim that I had eaten half the meal when I hadn't will mean I never return to Matsuri.nnI am now at Tokyo Station which, for the same price, have received a larger Bento almost double the size with extra sides of cabbage (larger portion than the rice, large!), two sushi, ginger, mayo and fruit salad (same portion as rice).

This review relates to Matsuri in ENEX100. Second time coming here, and this places food is phenomenal, but there are two things holding it back from a five. 1. It's cash only (which is idiotic in 2016, considering anyone can set up card payments with ease for only $20 for a machine. 2. The second time having the sushi, the salmon didn't taste as fresh.
