Hamilton MG Brighton

Excellent experience with this dealership today.Test drove top of the range MG essence beautiful car plenty of power.But it's a suv based car not a Ferrari so don't expect it to be a rocket but for a decent size vehicle with the turbo 2litre I was happy with it.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I bought a new MG HS at the end of last year. I have had so many troubles with it, taken it back three times this year and the problems have not been resolved. The car hasn't even done 3000km yet.nThe first time I took it back they said there was no problem, when I put up a fuss they said they would have another look at it. Suddenly they found so many error codes there were too many to investigate so they cleared them to see how many would come back.nI took the car back two weeks later and they said they couldn't find a fault.nAfter the car wouldn't start I took it back the third time. They have now told me there is a known fault that has caused the touch screen to restart whilst driving, the locking system intermittently faulting, the car not starting, windscreen wipers not working and android auto not registering the phone . However that fix is coming till then I just wait to see if my car will open or start.nThe mechanic came for a drive with me to investigate the car aggressively jerking and losing acceleration. He told me that I was driving it fine, that the clutch can get confused when you break, accelerate then brake which can cause the jerking. He witnessed the loss of acceleration and I left the car overnight. The next day they told me they could not find a fault, it was characteristic of the car and if I accelerate more gentle the car will go faster and wont jerk. This has not been the case it was worse, they have now said they will wait for updates from the factory........ The worst service at this dealershipnI now wait for a repair until then my car may open, it may start, it might not. It will aggressively jerk and lose acceleration in an intersection but that is characteristic of the car and there is no fix in sight and a care factor of zero from MG Australia.nTheir service is that bad they could not even deliver the car clean on the day I picked it up. I do not recommend Hamilton and I do not recommend MG. Please think twice before using them or buying an MG, the after service is not existent
