You want remote, you go it.nOnce you cross the Lower Portals creek, follow the sign to the left to the Portals. The track is basically unmarked from there but you'll head up the ridge just before you cross the rocks to get to the Portals proper. At times you may lose it over one of the many rock scrambles. Stay on the ridge and you'll pick it up on the other side. Campsite is as expected for a remote campsite - A large clearing, there's a few smaller sites if you keep walking through the main one (to the right) These give better access to water.nnRemember, this is a remote campsite. So no Fires (some people clearly ignore this), no leaving waste and pack out what you pack in.nn100% will be back to this spot. It's got it all, a good walk in, good camping spot, good access to water.

Very basic site. Just a clearing in fact. Not even a sign to indicate where you are.
