Caversham House

Kris and I wanted to say a massive thank you for our wonderful wedding to Martina and the event staff. The venue was gorgeous, everything was set up perfectly and the staff were honestly amazing we had nothing but compliments about how everything ran and how attentive they were. We couldn't have asked for better and Martina was an absolute gem to deal with through all my 100 questions and last minute COVID border changes to seating plans. Thank you Caversham House you were absolutely brilliant.

It was a lovely venue (wedding in my case) but it was toooo hard to find the secret garden and they could see there were more people than chairs but didn't supply any more... it would have been nice to have had somewhere to sit while waiting for the photos to finish or even some tables to lean on... unfortunately not much of the food was very nice, there was always one or two elements that just didn't work and sort of ruined the whole thing... the staff were great, very friendly and cheerful...

Recently had the privilege of being at a wedding here. What a beautiful setting and such a lovely service. Very picturesque

My husband and I chose Caversham House the second we walked into the venue, it was exactly what we were looking for. Martina was an absolute pleasure, she was always accommodating through the 4 year planning process, and was readily available to answer any questions no matter how big, small or silly. We unfortunately had the devastating news the day before our wedding that COVID restrictions had come into effect, but luckily we were still able to go ahead with a few minor adjustments, of which Martina handled beautifully, and even on the day after a minor freak-out from myself, it was handled fantastically. The entire experience with Martina and Caversham House was fantastic, and we cannot thank them enough.

We recently had both our ceremony and reception at Caversham House and could not have picked a better venue. During the wedding planning, the staff (especially Senior Wedding Coordinator Martina) were professional, accommodating, and friendly and so knowledgeable about problems to look out for on the day and how to avoid them. The service staff and floor manager during the reception were extremely attentive and friendly, always willing to help if needed. Caversham House was incredibly accommodating in organising buggy transport for our older guests between the ceremony and reception areas. The food during the reception was incredible and our guests also said as much after the wedding, commenting over and over how amazing it was. The grounds are outstanding, especially the Hidden Gardens where our ceremony was held. We were so happy with our wedding and cannot thank Caversham House enough for helping us have such a perfect and memorable day.
