Quite, protected, safe and easy swimming for young kids. A remote location of the island that takes the most driving to get to.

The road over needs a grade please rangers. The female toilet was locked and there was no water available to wash hands. I appreciate all have been preoccupied with bush fires and look forward to visiting again soon.

Great place to fish for whiting. White sand, nice camp site. A great part of Fraser.

This is a very beautiful campground and not very busy at all! If you like crabbing, prawning and pulling yabbies it's a great area. It may be good for fishing but we had no luck there. Admittedly we are only okay anglers.nBe aware if you come here for an overnight that the insects can be ferocious. We had head nets, spray, could and wore head to toe clothes but were still very badly bitten. Plan ahead for maximum comfort with a netted gazebo.nThey have flush toilets but no showers. Make sure to bring your own paper.nThere are also dingos that were patrolling. We saw them during the day and found their tracks very close around our campsite in the morning. Make sure to follow all the suggested dingo safe guidelines.
