Peters Cottage was a perfect place for our family Christmas holiday. The affordability allowed us an extended stay of 2 weeks to enjoy all 1770 has to offer. The location of the cottage is fabulous - great views, sea breezes, quiet (apart from sound of ocean) and we enjoyed dinners, bbqs, card games or relaxing with a book on the deck. A classic beach house being simple, yet it had everything we needed including wifi. Lovely views and breezes in master bedroom and from kitchen and living room. Kids enjoyed the huge dvd selection. Great walks around headland from the doorstep and some great swimming and fishing spots within walking distance. Could have stayed longer and we hope to be back to stay here again.

Great family friendly place, close to calm water for swimming but far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing. All the necessity’s at a great price.

Lovely getaway to a quiet area away from the fast life. Beautiful breezes from the ocean on the deck. Great BBQ. Comfortable with all the necessities.

Peter’s Cottage is one of the original homes on the Seventeen Seventy Headland, Surrounded by National Parks, overlooking the ocean. There are several walks, from the house, along the headland, North to the two look outs at the end of the headland, this is also the best location and one of the few places on the East coast you can watch the breath taking sunset views over water. Walking to the south, leads you across more national park headland, past small secluded beaches to the remote beach that leads to Agnes Water. The other easy walk is through the small forest, along Round hill Creek leading from the headland, to Cooks monument.

Great cottage at a prime location on Seventeen Seventy headland. This cottage can sleep a family of 5. Large rear balcony that overlooks the ocean. The driveway is handy for people with large boats as can drive in and out one way.
