The Alcove at Joondalup Resort

I met with friends and family for dinner. We had a most enjoyable evening, the staff were excellent and put up with our sometimes challenging but humorous behaviour. The meal was delightful. We shared starters of brussel sprouts, scallops, and lamb croquette. All were perfectly cooked and presented, my favourite was the croquette. I chose the lamb rump for my main, again it was done to perfection. Desert was an apple tart again tasty and light, a perfect ending to the meal. Along the way we indulged in various alcohols in accompaniment. The staff were wonderful and even though we had a bit of a mix up with drinks (partly our fault) they kept their gracious demeanour. I recommend the Alcove for a night of cuisine especially if you want a quiet night out with a special someone.

We celebrated Christmas in July with our friends there. Food and drinks were nice, music and service was good too. I'd love to come there again.

I attended a wedding at the Joondalup Resort and between the ceremony and reception had a few drinks at The Alcove.nThe Alcove make a beautiful Espresso Martini, I highly recommend ordering one.nAfter a few drinks I ordered the lamb croquettes and platter of dips. The food was served quickly and was delicious.nThe atmosphere here is beautiful and staff are very friendly.

Firstly they said they were booked out for set menu and half the tables are empty.nnAlso run out of the Lamb ribs before 7:30pmnnMenu options are horribly limited. Only 3 mains and no steak option. They ran out of one 1/3 of their mains options before 7:30pm.nnWaiter didn’t clear table of empty glasses or offer water to the table.nnVery disappointed with the planning and service of this establishment.
