The Aussie topping for the schnitzels tastes great. Great value on schnitty night. The atmosphere and style is very comforting and has a pleasing aesthetic.
My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because the portion of chips was kind of small a little bit more would be perfection. And some of the chips were underneath the schnitzel. Will likely be returning regardless
Visited the front bar once again and enjoyed a beautifully cooked meal as usual. It’s interesting because Lisa in the front bar last time I visited was short and gave me the impression that she really did not enjoy her job. I gave her the benefit of the doubt thinking she may he having a bad day but low and behold she was condescending once again. The person I visited with for lunch and I were employees at the Adelaide Casino for twenty two years between us and understand the importance of not just good customer service but great customer service and would frequently performance manage staff out of the business if they persisted with this inappropriate attitude toward the very people responsible for paying her wages. Just because the bar is popular and doing well does not mean that staff should become complacent. I guarantee there are many customers that have shared the same notion and the management needs to be made aware of it.
Lovely meal with good friendly service.
