Alice Mechanical Solutions

Went in with diff noise and for a service. $1500 later left with the same diff noise and half a service. Refused to check the diff at all, insisting it was not the issue. Admitted they didn't check the condition of any brake pads. We later discovered the brake fluid was low, a headlight globe needed replacing. The air intake hose clamps were not tightened and the turbo intake pipe was not properly fitted. Leaving 2 adults, 3 children a cat and a caravan on the side of the road on a 40deg day in the middle of nowhere. Oh and the non existent diff noise? Well our diff failed and we lost drive 200km from Alice Springs requiring a $1500 tow. Would not recommend coming here...ever

Great place bit expensive but he does a good job

The mechanic was friendly and knowledgeable however organisation and booking system was terrible.
