My favourite place to study and catchup on work. Friendly and bright atmosphere, great selection of books (not as much as other branch, but you can always place reserves) not to mention the pretty garden scenery that makes studying less boring. I see people complaining about noise level, but it’s never a BIG issue, there’s quiet study areas and they have pushed children’s section to the furthest corner.
Lovely Library with good facilities, free wifi, wasn't impressed that there was lots of graffiti/tagging in the mens toilets that has been there for several weeks (despite me notifying staff a few weeks ago).
Also, unlike I'm used to, it's generally a noisy library (kids running around yelling, people having conversations in loud voices) so the quiet working space is really the only quiet place in the library.
Home-like environment with all the facilities expected of a good lending library. Books, DVDs, audiobooks, cd's. Computer resources. Reading tables, comfy seating areas, newspapers & magazines. Great room with study desks. Helpful staff. I use this library a lot!!! What a wonderful FREE asset in our local community!!
love this library and I hope it stays for many years to come.
Good space, light and bright, offers a wide range of activities and family friendly. Plenty of computers and occasionally free herbs and vegies are offered straight from the library garden. Highly recommend.
