Had a really enjoyable evening at the Hummus Club.nThe service and the food was excellent.nLovely welcome with the King Toot brandy and some information about the restaurant and it's story.nFood just kept arriving at the table each time staff explained what the dish contained. Not one bad dish. Finished with a couple of lovely desserts.nOnly regret for me they did not do Turkish coffee.nnWould highly recommended this for a lovely night out

Update 9 June : a winter's night, 6:40 pm, restaurant over half empty, all I wanted was a table for 1 and a quick meal after work but got refused and told I would have to wait until the second sitting at 7:30. Never again Hummus Club. Never again....nnPrevious review:Cosy inside on a cold night. Delicious mushroom hummus, fast service, yummy desserts

Used to be great food.nnSo it seems to have gone downhill.nSmaller portions, smaller menu, and generally Average service. Used to be amazing. Not sure if the original owners sold the business???

Food was nice, just not our preferred cuisine but we thought we would give it a go. Music was probably a bit too loud and over bearing for our taste. We couldn't really hear ourselves think. But if that's your thing then most definitely give this place a go before they close!

More than a meal out, an entire Middle Eastern experience, with great food.nnIt starts from when you're first greeted and introduced not only to your waiter for the night, but the restaurant itself. There is artwork from flown in Middle Eastern artists on the wall including a poem in Arabic, the music played is local unsigned artists from Iran. Your waiter joins you for a toast to start the evening as you mean to go on.nThe meals come out as mezes (similar to tapas), best enjoyed shares by those you're with, the food is quick to come out, beautifully prepared and a true middle East taste experience. There is also multiple plates on your table so you're never left waiting and have plenty to enjoy. There is variety in the dishes that are all packed with flavour and passion.nnYou're missing out if you don't try here.
