Girraween Environmental Lodge

This was the first time my wife and I had stayed at the Girraween Environmental Lodge. From the moment of our arrival through to the end of our stay, we had an amazing time. The hosts, Paul and Bengu, were truly lovely, professional and warm in their hospitality. We stayed in a one bedroom chalet and it was far beyond our expectations. Clean, fully self contained with a king bed, generous sized lounge room and wonderful kitchen. It had a warm, homely and casual feeling to it and the large spacious veranda was well received. The outdoor pools and spa were great and we were able to enjoy a spa at night under the stars which was incredible and an experience to remember. We shared the bush resort with many kangaroos, wallabies and possums. There are a number of wonderful bush walks within the 400 acre property, most of which we spent walking. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend this stunning lodge to everyone. Do yourselves a favour and stay a few nights here. You will be glad you did.

Peaceful bush land setting, cabins are comfortable and spacious. Includes all the modern cons, no internet or phone service or TV stations but reception office has hundreds of DVDs at no charge. Plenty of walking tracks with views of surrounding mountain's and bolder rock formations. Kangaroos early morning and evening, sighted some owls at night.check their website for other facilities. Short drive to winery's and national parks. Highly recommended for a getaway from the rat race.

LOVED OUR STAY! My partner booked a night for Valentines day, what a surprise, we loved so much the lodge that we had to book for an extra night, what a shame we didn't stay longer ud83dude22. Everything was so clean, the kitchen is full equipped. The host was very nice, we feed the birds and we also had a wine bottle as a gift for Valentines day ♥ufe0f

Stayed for three nights, will definitely comeback. Great place well equiped chalets lots of privacy. Lovely hosts go that little bit extra to make your stay comfortable.
