Very peaceful place to sit, but I wouldn’t swim in the water it seems very dirty.

Great place to go for a walk or cycle and alright for a swim too. You can get to it from the Daisy Hill Rd end or from Where Ford Rd and Avalon Rd meet, both about the same distance - two and a half k.nWalkers be mindful of cyclist and cyclists be mindful of walkers and she’ll all be honky dory.

3.9 kilometre walk. come here a lot. Who knows? Maybe I've seen you here!! (Just kidding) Hahaha. It's beautiful. Only a few things, you can only get here by bicycle, horses or on foot. (The farthest you can bring your car is into one of the Daisy hill carparks.) Also, it's all dirt roads, the quarry itself is extremely deep so maybe not a good place to teach your kids how to swim. Aside from that, if you wanna relax, ride or walk, GET DOWN HERE!! ud83dudc4d
