Lovely staff, great location. Always busy so make sure you book. Bit overpriced but nice non the less

We visited fig and co this week. We previously visited before the renovations and found the differences were a great improvement. The new outdoor area is very inviting. It’s a lovely and comfortable area to relax. We were rather disappointed with staff service - I think we asked about 5 times for water before we got any. And we had another customer give us their high chair after staff forgot to bring one to us. The food took a little while to arrive , but was delicious when it did. If you are looking for a relaxing and slow paced family friendly venue - this is the place for you! We visited for lunch, but I’m keen to try their breakfast menu in our next visit.

A really pretty cafe, I love the decor and it feels really relaxing. Total bonus that it’s dog friendly and has a small nursery to browse next door. The food has been pretty average when we’ve visited. The meatballs were bland and the pie was very salty however the muffins and cakes have always been delicious and the coffee is decent.

The Fig is a lovely cafe, with great coffee and a simple but delicious menu. Their outdoor area is a beautiful place to relax and catch up with friends, and they are very child friendly (with a cubby house and some cuddly farm animals to entertain) as well as pet friendly too. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Service can be a little slow and disjointed at times but I feel like recently they have really improved on this, and it certainly does not, in my opinion, make them any less deserving of 5 star review.

Over the course of COVID, The Fig coffee house have repainted and renovated the tired looking cafe that was once Mother Earth sadly beneath the exterior layer of nuance is poor service, tasteless food and coffee that resembled dirty dish water rather than an espresso shot. The underwhelming experience will be the last for us. RESPONSE TO OWNER REPLY This is not a false review,. Who do you think I am aligned with? My family and I have dined at your Cafe / Restaurant for many years, in fact 10 years ago we even booked the whole place for my in-law's lunchtime renewal of vows. Seeing that my family and I have spent a considerable amount of money at Mother Earth / Fig & Co over the years I can give you honest and genuine feedback on the experience my wife and I had last Saturday and sadly going by your shoot from the hip response, it says more about you than it does of me! As a Business Relationship Manager, I am offering you this feedback and advice for free - don't shoot the messenger.
